Drake Wolf

Only one week after arriving in Thailand to work for an international car manufacturer, a 23-year-old US citizen was found dead in his hotel room in Trang.

Pol Col Eknarong Sawatdiganon, a superintendent of Mueang Trang Provincial Police Station, discovered the body after the Manager of a hotel informed the police. Drake Wolf, 23, was found lying on his bed with his hands clasped behind his head and his legs crossed.

Next to the bed, police found three empty bottles of an anaesthetic commonly used for animals. Pol Col Eknarong concleded that Mr Wolf had, in all likelihood, intentionally overdosed on the drugs to take end his life.

Mr Drake arrived in Thailand only one week earlier to start his work for an international car manufacturer in the region. According to the hotel Manager, he checked into the hotel on July 30, just four days after his arrival,

CCTV footage of the days leading up to the discovery of his death, showed Mr Drake returning to the hotel and going straight into his room on Sunday, July 31. When the young man did not emerge from his room on the third day of his stay, the hotel Manager used his master key to check on the occupant and found him dead.
