Jaroslav Krupka

A motorbike crash on Thailand’s popular tourist island Phuket last night ended deadly for Jaroslav Krupka, a 44 years old tourist from the Czech Republic.

The accident occurred at around 2:30 on Wichit Songkram Rd. near Kathu temple. Police and rescue workers arrived at the scene to find the body of the foreign man lying in a pool of blood with a broken right leg. His son was crying and holding the victim’s body. A wrecked motorbike was around 50 meters away.

According to the victim’s son, the two had been to the Patong beach area on separate motorbikes. When they were returning, Mr. Jaroslav lost control of his motorbike and crashed into the central reservation, causing his body to fall from the motorbike and hit the lamp post.

The body of Jaroslav Krupka was taken to Vachira hospital for an official autopsy.
