Kenth Goran Robert Hallin

Songsermtham Rescue’s Facebook page reports the death of a Swedish man who was killed in a road accident on Soi Phrom Prakai Rd in Udon Thani province early Tuesday morning.

When the local police station received an accident report at 04:00, police officers and rescue workers rushed to the scene on Phrom Prakai Rd close to Udon Thani Airport in Ban Lueam, Mueang Udon Thani district, Udon Thani province.

At the crash site, they discovered the body of a middle-aged man next to his motorbike, a Honda Zoomer X, licence plate “คพน 996 Udon”. The driver’s licence found in the victim’s pocket identified the victim as 38-year-old Kenth Goran Robert Hallin from Sweden.

The scooter was found in front of a massive concrete wall separating the road from a gated community. Police suspect Mr Hallin must have lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the wall, killing him instantly.

Police ordered a post-mortem examination on the body at Udon Hospital.
