Lothar Fisseler

At around 13:00 on Thursday, Pol Lt Karnjanaphat Pathaweesrisuda from Sattahip police station received a notification about a foreign man found in an apartment in tambon Bang Sarey, ampoe Sattahip, Chon Buri province.

At scene, officers found the body of Mr Lothar Fisseler, aged 74 from Germany. The officers assumed that he had been dead for at least 10 hours. From inspecting his room there were no traces of foul play.

Pol Lt Karnjanaphat revealed that after initial inspection she assumed that the cause of Mr. Lothar’s death that he might be a heart attack or a stroke. However, the officers will inform his Embassy in Thailand in order to contact Mr Lothar’s relatives to collect his body.

His body was sent to Police General Hospital in Bangkok for autopsy.
