Mark Richard Havelka

A heart attack is the most likely cause of death of an Australian foreigner who was found dead at his home, the Czech Embassy in Bangkok concluded.

The body of Mark Richard Havelka, a Czech-born Australian citizen, was discovered several days after his death in a rented house on the outskirts of Chiang Mai.

Mr Havelka’s mortal remains were cremated shortly after his death. His ashes were taken back to Australia by his children. A person close to the deceased told Farang Deaths, “Some of his possessions have been donated to the local school and community”.
