Melisa Lui Rui Chun

Singaporean Melisa Lui Rui Chun, 34, died on the spot after the Erawan Shrine bomb exploded in the even of Monday, August 17. She was with her 35 years old husband, Ng Su Teck, and her brother who were both injured by glass shards from the explosion and are currently being treated in Ramathibodi Hospital.

Melisa Lui Rui Chun worked for the Singapore branch of the French insurance company AXA and had travelled to Thailand’s capital with some companions for a holiday. Friends described the victim as chatty, loving and humorous

Her body is still being kept at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in central Bangkok and will later be transported to Singapore.
