Peter Werner

A German bakery owner was found dead at his home in Pattaya on Wednesday afternoon, Thai Visa reported without naming any sources.

A post in the popular expat forum said that Mr Peter Werner died after suffering a heart attack in his apartment. The 74-year-old had been in bad health after being involved in a hit-and-run accident in Khao Noi in Prachuap Khiri Khan province two months ago. He sustained broken ribs and a punctured lung during the crash.

Mr Werner was a well-known member of the expat community in Pattaya and ran a bakery in the Naklua area.
