Scott Timothy Conway

A 41-year-old American man fell to his death from the 17th floor of a Patong city hotel at around 04:45 Saturday morning.

“When we arrived at the scene, we found the body of the man laying in the parking lot of the Royal Paradise Hotel and Spa”, Patong Police Deputy Superintendent Akanit Danpitaksat said.

The man who was identified as Conway Scott Timothy was staying alone in room 1717 of the hotel Rat-U-Thit 200 Pi Road, in Phuket’s Kathu district.

“We saw no signs of a struggle in the room. The only clue to what might have happened was an ashtray full of cigarette butts and some old clothes on the terrace that he fell from”, Lt Col Akanit said. “However, we are investigating the matter further.”
